Hey everybody, if you have a Yamaha like mine, a 2021 Yamaha YZ250F, you really could use a Slater Skins High Flow Air box Cover.  Their information is above the photo.  Help me out here and order one and maybe that will help me get a much needed sponsorship.  Thanks,  Taylor

I need more power for my Hole Shots!  I'm running 91 Octane Ethanol Free gasoline.  Here is a quote from a mechanic on gas:

"Mechanic's Note: If your dirt bike or ATV engine is tuned to run at a higher octane you'll need to invest in higher octane fuel. For example, a higher compression piston could cause the fuel to detonate (causing knocking) rather than burn which affects performance. Check the owner's manual. Most non-ethanol based fuel is rated at 90 octane and recommended for Motocross bikes.

One type of gas to avoid, if at all possible, is ethanol-based. Yes, it is difficult nowadays to find gas that's not corn fed especially in certain parts of the country or during a specific time of year. If you have a choice, pay extra or go out of your way for straight-up gas, otherwise it's OK to use the ethanol-based. It works just fine and won't hamper performance. However, we advise NOT using an ethanol concentration above 10 percent.

The big concern using ethanol-based fuel is corrosion. Ethanol attracts moisture which overtime corrodes vital engine parts. Therefore, burn off all ethanol-based fuel in the tank, drain the tank or add a fuel stabilizer if left in the tank for long periods. Ethanol-based fuel eventually gels and clogs the jets."

I just don't want to run a gas (corn) product that messes up my engine so that's why I try to run the ethanol free but the higher octane is hard to find.  I might have to go to racing fuel for the races.

I need the power!

Mountain West MX Park Utah Moto Co Race Cancelled! Bummer!

Oh, well, the race just got cancelled but will be rescheduled for either the 19th or 26th of June.

UTAH MOTO CO - Round 3 Mountain West MX Park

This will be my second race after breaking my leg.  I'm regaining my confidence and I'm going to give it my best shot.  It's being held at the Mountain West MX Park in Mona, Utah put on by the Utah Moto Co.  They put on a fun race.  They even have "blow-up" slides to have fun on.  I'll be entering the 250 Beginner/D Class and the Beginner Open-(Big Bike) Class racing 4 motos on Saturday.  I'm still not 100% in shape and it's going to be really hot on the track.  Let's see what happens.  You can't win if you don't enter and give it your best!

YAMAHA Seat Time!

Today was a great track practice at #Mountain West Motocross Park in Mona, Utah.  I made sure not just to ride around the track just to get seat time.  I made an effort to actually train.

I know that riding my dirt bike is great training, but I've been told by everybody that it’s not the best way to become a better rider. Vincent from SMX Factory School made me practice, practice and practice on the turns. He also told me that I need to make the time to work on the skills it takes to be a better rider.

I don't have money coming in like a lot of riders so I try to get to the track when I can.  My grandpa drove up from Mesquite, Nevada last weekend; a four-hour one-way trip for him just to help me get to Mona for Saturday's practice from 9:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m.  They close at 2.  Yep, he then drove back home Saturday night.

Well this Saturday morning I made sure I was warmed up and the very first rider on the track.  They had watered the crap out there and there was a lot of mud.  I needed to practice on a muddy track; that's for sure.

I'm not going to tell you it was a lot of clean fun; it wasn't.  The #891Suspension rebuild needed to be tested and it was.  The new #Flexx Handle bars had to get used too; they did.  Thankful that I was running my #Acerbis skid plate because it helped keep a lot of mud off of the engine.  But the thing that kept me running in the mud was the great set of #Pivotrax Tires.  They are simply amazing.

Going to get to the track tomorrow, Sunday morning again because it's race time in one week at #Bunker Hill Motocross Track in Delta, Utah and because this will be my first race back since breaking my leg I want to be ready.  Wish me luck!

Please take a look at my GoFundMe page and if you or somebody knows anybody that wants to help me and my grandpa would really appreciate it and we'll make sure to thank you all of the time.  Remember that every dollar goes to my bike's maintenance and racing.  Just to give you an idea of what practice costs; every day at the #Mountain West Motocross Park track is $30.00 just to practice.  Please help if you can.

Fasst Company Flexx Bars, 891Suspension, PIVOTRAX Tires, Attach Graphics & ACERBIS Plastics :)

A complete makeover was finished on my 2021 Yamaha YZ250F Monster Edition and I'm loving it!

After breaking my leg I knew that I had to do something with my suspension so I had #891Suspension, #TJBronson rebuild it for a guy my size. It is working out fantastic.

Next was a stop at #Fasst Company to pick up the new #Flexx Bars Moto 12° 32". I was running the bars on my 2017 Honda CRF450R that we just sold so I kind of knew what to expect that they actually worked better on my Yam than on the Honda. Huuuuge difference. I only experience a bit of arm pump when I first started riding and practicing at #Mountain West Motocross Park in #Mona, Utah.  Oh yeah, not to forget my new black #ODI V2 Lock-On Grips.  New bars have to have new grips!

Of course I had to change the plastics so we installed a complete #ACERBIS plastics kit in all black. It took a while. The rear fender has over 10 bolts and insert washers that had to come out and put back in. Even had to loosen the muffler just to get to two of them. But gotter done!

When they invented graphics they wanted to screw with people; that's for sure. I got the complete #Rocky Mountain ATV #Attack Graphics kit for the Yam. Look at them sideways and they'll get a wrinkle or crease. Don't even try to move them once they get stuck on. The glue on those things are used on space ships instead of rivets; that's for sure. The bike is looking good.

#PIVOTRAX TIRES!!! I can't say enough about these tires. I've run other tires on the Hondas and then initially the tires that came on the #Yamaha but nothing compares to the way these tires dig in and corner. I absolutely love them and love #PIVOTRAX.  You're running a great tire until you throw on a pair of these tires.

I wouldn't even be able to ride without a great pair of #FlowVision Goggles.  I'll never ever be able to pay back all of the help you've given me.  Thanks guys.  And by the way when you're looking at the #Flow Vision Goggles check out my amazing Helmet and Paint job by #DanFelixDesigns out of Bunkerville, Nevada.

If you know anybody or company that wants to help a kid out check out my GoFundMe page.  Every penny counts.

A great guy just bought my 2017 Honda CRF450R that my grandpa and I had for sale.  It's kind of a funny feeling when you sell a bike you've been riding.  The first bike I sold was a pit bike then the 2005 Honda CRF450R.  I really liked the '05.  We sold that to a great guy from Leeds, UT.  He is really happy with the bike and mainly just trail rides through the mountains behind his house in Leeds.  The guy who bought the bike today was another great guy.  He's going to dental school in Arizona but is from outside Rigby, Idaho.  He and his friend went to school together at BYU, Idaho; should still be Ricks.  This bike has so much power since the rebuild.  He got a great bike and a great deal.  Okay, I'll miss it but I've got my new 2021 Yamaha YZ250F Monster Edition to ride and really excited about the new suspension from 891 Suspension.  Broken leg is feeling pretty good; still hurting from time to time and chomping at the bit to get back on the bike and ride.

A great ride and super fast.  Bye, bye Honda:)

I just finished up my 4 motos, two 250 class motos and two 450 class motos and feel like I need a lot more work on corners and also watchin...
